unveiling 2009

i'm so glad that others found yesterday's post to be inspiring... i will have to keep my new mantra in my head and close to my heart from here on out.

at dinner last night with the running group, we discussed race possibilities for 2009.

Jan 1 Resolution Run 5k -- registered
March 29 Around the Bay 30k -- registered (this one sells out really fast...)
May 3 Sporting Life 10k
May 31 TO Women’s HM -- registered (already sold out)

i still really want to fit a try-a-tri in there somewhere, but we'll see how the off-season shapes up.  Hoping to have a much better year in '09.

Due to dinner last night, I didn't go to kickboxing, but my friend did and signed up for the year. She later left me a voicemail telling me that the instructor questioned her as to my whereabouts, and wondered if I had been scared off.  She said she vouched for me... letting him know that I had prior commitments, but assured him that i'd be back.  Yikes! LOL

Running tomorrow morning, kickboxing in the evening. Looking to make progress this time in Mr. Q's challenge, since I was in the air cast for his last challenge.

Also, if you're a mommy and a runner, go check out Kristina's blog.  She's writing a book and looking for people to interview!

I am running Around the Bay. We should have a blogger meet up! I am also running the Hamilton Boxing Day 10 miler, only 25$!

WOW, I don't really have any idea of what races I plan to do next year. There are always a few staples but nothing set and not even close to registered for. Way to be on top of things.

That's weird... because yesterday I was mapping out some races for 2009. I am so excited. It's going to be one fun and busy year of races!

Is that the Nike Marathon sold out already...my goodness!

As a SPIN instructor I am always questioning the whereabouts if they miss :-)

Have a great weekend:-)

I love planning the next season. Your plans are shaping up nicely.

Guess you better get back to kickboxing since your absence was missed!
