I am so proud of my mom because she has fought seizures, brain surgery, she quit smoking and has become a runner. Now she looks a lot happier and enjoys running with her pals. The cool thing is that she is going to run a marathon on mothers day. she is also going to run a half marathon in san fran in 176 days and yes she is counting down!!!!! my motto is don't give up keep trying.

What a wonderful post. It takes a mature and loving child to be able to appreciate a parent while they are still young. You are both are so lucky to have each other. Keep supporting a cheering for each other. We are cheering for you, too!

Terron, This is such a great post! Your mom has been through a lot - I know about seizures because my son Chris has them. And I know how hard it is to quit smoking too. But being a mom to a great kid like you is probably the easiest thing ever! She is doing a great job with you, that is for sure! Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us!
