quick update

Went on a short little run yesterday afternoon -- first run since my race, and really, probably the first time I had a moment to spare! Felt good, no tightness left; after my ART session Tuesday night, I've been feeling pretty fantastic!

This week has been crazy.  I had to cram in 5 teaching days into 4 to allow me to take today off, packing, moving, organizing, stressing out in the evenings. Cable/Internet/Phone company meeting me at the new house later this morning to get me all set up.  Better be operational by Monday's work day is all I can say. Painter finished upstairs yesterday (love the color that the WHOLE FAMILY agreed on!), coming back to do the main floor late this afternoon.

Tonight is celebration night with the running group -- we typically go out the week after a race for dinner or something; I'm lucky to be part of an amazing and fun group of people.

So, hoping to be back online to catch up on all your blogs soon... in the meantime, I'm lurking :) Have a fantastic weekend, good luck to those going to New Orleans Ironman, and any racers others out there!

How cool that your running group does a celebration. I tried organizing something like that last year afer the last race on our common calendars but my group just wasn't too into it. bah humbug!

ZOMG, sister!1! You're lurking?!1!?

I feel so violated because sometimes I blog in my underwear (or even less) and now to think you might have been there lurking the whole time ...!

Man, you Canadians bring creepy to a whole new level. And, btw. I don't care what you THINK you saw, but I was just scratching ... and YES, sometimes I do scratch continuously for 5 minutes straight because I get really bad itches down there!

Doesn't everyone?

Good luck with the move, sistre.

I'm blogging in my most unsexy flannel pjs from now on, thanks to you and your creepy Canadian lurking!

Ugh! I feel like I need a showre!
