race pics...

another 6k run this morning, more hills, less snow :)

Got some race pics from last Sunday's race.

Cold, wet, and rainy for the first hour of the race -- but smiling.  Happy to have made it to the start line of this race despite the weather.

Still smiling!  Are we sure this is me??  I usually look like I'm being tortured in my race pics!  By this point, I had to have been at about 28k, after having met the Grim Reaper.

Not sure how I managed to look so happy at the finish line -- I think it was the combination of accomplishment, relief, pride and excitement, all while my eyes were welling up.

Ok, down to 44 blog posts to read, I'm getting there!

I'm impressed -- smiling after 30K? I might manage that after an easy 5-6 miles but catch me after 10-12 and it won't be smiles! I can't imagine what I'd look like after 18 miles (30K).
