Remember I posted about the H2O Audio shuffle case and headphones so I can have my tunes with me while swimming laps? All of the songs are fun, upbeat and motivating since I used my marathon playlist to update the ipod...
Ever wonder if you really actually did something?**
Oh Gawd, I really hope I didn't sing aloud while at the pool last night, maybe while standing at the end of the lane to catch my breath... (or any other time I've used it so far!!) Just because I don't hear anything with the earbuds in doesn't mean nobody does. :)
**I really don't think I did since no one gave me that look...or laughed at me... but don't you hate that feeling of second guessing yourself. Now I'm aware of it, so I know it won't happen LOL

Very funny! I think it's be very hard to sing and swim and breathe and not die! I you can, more power to you, that's talent!
I don't think swimming and singing is possible. running and singing, yes. swimming and signing, no.
I didn't even know you could listen to music while you swam...I definitely couldn't swim and sing at the same time!
I didn't know there was such a contraption. I think the only possible way I can sing while swimming is if I'm floating on my back.
I'm sure you would know if were singing in the pool... pool water has a very distinctive flavor. ;D
LOL, I have almost caught myself belting out a song while out for a run SO many times!
hahaha. i used to fall asleep occasionally (ok, often) in class back in college and i would 'come to' thinking i heard snoring. i'm hoping either i just imagined it or it was very subtle if i was doing it. the professors never talked to me about it anyway. singing, well that's ok. at least they can see you have headphones in. sometimes i start 'dancing'/shaking around while listening to music and i'm sure people are like what is that girl doing?
I love being way out on the country roads where I can just belt it out there for all the cows to hear!
I'd worry more about not being able to hear if I accidentally farted in the pool and just didn't hear it!!! Then have all the other swimmers laugh at the "bubbles" behind me while I'm swimming to my music! LOL!
Oh, I've totally been that girl-- and if I'd seen you doing that in the pool, I probably would have just wondered, "HEY! No fair! How can I listen to music while I swim?"
I've never tried the H2O Audio thing but it's on my list now. I do know for a fact that I tend to "sing" along on my longer runs (typically anything over 16-miles). Great blog.
Take care,
Ron
That is really funny, I sing when I run sometimes but I doubt anyone notices...
I think it's funny to see people on a plane watching a movie. There was one guy who waited, on purpose, until a really loud explosion during the in-flight movie to let out a really loud fart. makes sense.
when the plane landed, he got looks from the other half of the passengers that were not wearing the headphones and listening to the movie.
Hilarious!
(Yes, I often wonder if I did do something.. )
Swimming and singing is definitely possible; it is by far the only way I survived my 13 years a competitive swimmer. I consistantly invented my own words to songs and even used some songs to help me control my breathing. I wish I had had the cood device you have back then.
hehehe.. well when i am running i don't sing, but i sing in the car!!! almost constantly! elliot has gotten used to it :)
As long as you didn't sing the songs in that annoying Canadian accent.
Unless it's Rush or Bryan Adams. Then, go ahead because, really ... who cares?
Sing out loud and enjoy life!
I wear ear plugs when I swim - I'm ALWAYS yelling at people! It's all good. Just start saying obnoxious things as though you're repeating what they're saying....
LOL!
LOL...it's a gift to be able to sing and swim at the same time. I can barely swim!
Lol! I would never be able to swim and sing! I go between belting it out or breaking down in some crazy dance moves. Usually only ever done at home or in the car (b/c no one can see you inthe car right!?!?)
This is exciting! Swimming and Singing! So challenging! : ) Its hard but possible indeed. Gotta try it! : )
Hahaha...I find myself totally mouthing the words if a good song comes on while I'm running.
There was one time I was listening to my iPod while running. There was one song by Filter called "Take A Picture"... it comes out like this.. Awake on my airplane, Awake on my airplane, my skin is bare. My skin is theirs... I did run like an airplane with my arms up like a wing. I was going from left to right. What was I thinking? I am sure there were drivers out there thinking I must be nuts. Who cares? I enjoyed it - period.
Go ahead -- sing out loud! After all, it works great in musicals.
