it's gonna explode!!

...my RSS feeder that is!

Since I left for work monday morning, I have yet to eat a meal at home, have walked miles beyond those during my marathon attempt (and I walked a whole lot more than I ran that day!!), put more mileage on my car than in any normal month, and have slept far fewer hours than I need. Sunshine? Has the sun even risen yet this week? Cuz I don't remember seeing any...

*rolling eyes* *whine whine whine*. I'm actually not complaining; I'm enjoying it -- it's only this week, and I was asked to help out a different team/department, it's a change of scenery (since I work at home), I'm working with people... face to face (normally I train people...remotely), I'm learning a lot, seeing a different side of 'the business', have met some pretty fun people, and appreciate my position so much more! It's just that I wasn't expecting the days to be quite this long or tiring. I haven't run since Saturday, cycled or swam since Sunday, I'm missing it all so much! I had my bike packed in the car yesterday just in case I could make it in time to meet the group for a ride, I got home just before the late night news. Had my swimming stuff in the car today, the pool opened for lane swim as I left for the day, but was over an hour away... I had good intentions.

So I guess this is a warped kind of unplanned rest week? I'm really not resting all that much, but I'm taking a break from my normal routine and activities?!? It's making me look even more forward to Sunday's triathlon, I need my dose of endorphins pronto!! Too bad it can't be bottled!

I love mail, and was happy to get the envelope I was waiting for!

My reward/birthday present from me to me. :) I ordered this cute charm and necklace from Lift Your Sole when I returned home from my triathlon on Aug. 23, and couldn't wait to be able to wear it!

Off to bed, tomorrow is supposedly the late night... ugh.

I will catch up on your posts... eventually! lol Hope you're having a great week!

I'm cracking up because I just got a similar neclace! On mine, there is a charm that says bike and then two smaller ones that say bike and swim. I couldn't wait to wear mine, too! I like your shirt in your last post, too. I will have to look for that one.

At least you are eating though, right?

I looked at that jewelry website. I may be ordering myself something in the next few weeks. ;)

I think it is a good sign when you take a few days off and actually miss working out.

Good luck trying to catch up, sistre!

In a pinch, there's always the "Mark all as read" button. No muss, no fuss, and no one gets hoited!

Of course, I don't mean for you to do that to MY posts. One must have standards, after all ...

Hey, I was in Canada last week! Montreal, to be exact. How come you people write in English but SPEAK in French/

You cray-zee Canooks!

Unintended rest weeks sometimes produce great results. Plus, you'll enjoy your workouts that much more when you slip back into them!
