hiatus

Rather than being a downer and pouring my heart out on a blog that isn't intended to be my public online therapy, I'm going to take a bit of a break. September was a particularly difficult month, and I'm glad it's over, but I'm dealing with things I never anticipated going through and am being pulled in several directions, all at once.

I will be leaving for San Francisco two weeks from today for the Nike Women's half marathon... so hopefully I'll have plenty of positive things to blog about when I return. I'll apologize in advance for the lack of or sporadic commenting, but I'll be back; you can't get rid of me that easily ;)

Hey don't worry about taking a blog break. I've been all about the blog break this fall.

Have a GREAT time in SF (I'm sure I'll say that about a gazillion times between now and then).

I have such great love for the city of San Francisco. I envy you for going there. Any chance of you tagging me along? I will be your supporter !!! I am glad you are taking a break from blog. We all do. If I don't hear from you, have a wonderful time in San Francisco.
If you ever have the time to listen to this...
.........

I left my heart in San Francisco
High on a hill, it calls to me.
To be where little cable cars
Climb halfway to the stars!
The morning fog may chill the air
I don't care!
My love waits there in San Francisco
Above the blue and windy sea
When I come home to you, San Francisco,
Your golden sun will shine for me!

...........

Good Luck Mel and kick ass in SF!
