Stick it to me!

If it's here, in writing, it's real, right? So I will say it. I started P90X yesterday. Owww, but awesome! I've had the DVD's for a while, just was never the right time to start, or was waiting for something else to be done before giving it a shot... I'm done waiting, it's time!

I'm sure the first week or so will be the toughest... but I really want to go the distance for the 90 days! Hold me accountable if I'm not doing it on my own! Push me if you think I'm starting to slip, remind me if I need it! Please!

128.56 to go before reaching my 2009 goal of 2500k for swim, bike, and run... with a few more longish bike rides on the training plan in the next few weeks, not sure I'll quite reach it, but it'll be close. Considering I only started riding and swimming again in June really, and with 7 weeks off for injury this year, I'm stoked to have traveled this far! I'd still give this one a PASS!

Well done on your goal, Mel. You can still do the 128 km. Plenty of time. :-)

Can you explain a bit more about the P90X, please? I've got no idea what you are talking about.

P90X scares me. I'm starting with the 100 pushup challenge and then we'll see how that goes.

Girl, you are on the road to hard core. First, the Animal, now P90X. Can't wait to read what's next.

P90X scares me too! Wow, good for you. Looks like 2009 is shaping as a great year, despite injury. See, you may have never tri'd if you never got hurt...sometimes good things can come out of crap.

fun mel! stick with it, all 90 days :)

i'm too lazy to do p90x... i don't like needing all the weights and accessories. i know, i probably have it out of proportion in my mind. easy for me to do weights, etc at the gym but not in my own living room for some reason.

90 days + 128 km, you can do both! :)

I too am excited to hear how effective P90X is. I've been reading about these dvds for months now and have heard they have had really good results for those that stick with it. Keep us posted!

Good luck with P90X! So...how come we haven't read any posts on, "ohhhh, I love my new bike...spinning is the best on it!" Huh? :)

If you have to ride all of New Year's Eve to hit your goal, do it! What a great goal and you are so close...get to it!

I tried P90X, too but couldn't stick with it. Tony totally annoyed me and I felt like I did better with my own lifting routine. And his workouts are really long. It was hard to find an hour or so on top of an hour plus long run. Can't wait to read how you like it.

I have said it before.... not here...but on other blogs... P90X delivers results BEST if you do the diet plan with it.

I hear P90X is a huge time commitment - way to go! And nice job with your 2500K goal - I'm sure you will finish that right up in these last couple weeks of December.

I just bought PX90 for my husband for the holidays. I will have to try out some of the workouts and see what I think. Everyone's comments are making me very afraid! Good luck and tell us how it goes.

P90X even sounds scary...what is it?! I feel like such an underachiever whenever I read your blog! Keep up the great work.

Good luck with P90X, whatever that is it sounds pretty tough!

128k in 10 days is totally doable especially if you allow indoor kms on the bike trainer!
