It's March already!! Geez! Time is flying by! I just got home today from a short little trip to St. Louis -- ate more food than I should have, got only one workout done, so I'm looking forward to a little more of my own routine! Bullet-style post to recap February!

  • 10.6k swim -- missed a few, but hope to be back on track next week
  • 264.5k cycling
  • 65.25k running -- 0.12k less than January! How's that for consistency!
  • 19.25 hours of strength, 8.25 stretching or yoga
  • Pie chart for 2010 (jan-today) looks like this -- loving the balance!
  • P90X must be doing something for me! Terron came home from school just a short time after I got home today. The FIRST thing he said when he walked in was "Mom, you got skinnier, you only have 1 roll instead of 2 on your belly!" Un huh. Gotta love the honesty of a child, but I've gotten some amazing compliments lately! Totally serves as motivation! I'm starting to feel more comfortable in my own skin!
  • I have hit 625k combined mileage year-to-date I still find it surreal sometimes that my body has taken me that far!!!
  • Did I mention I have my first half marathon of 2010 on Sunday?! I didn't think so... I was reminded of it last week! :)
Hope you all have a great weekend! Weather is looking amazing this weekend, I'm hoping to ride outside Saturday!!!! WHOOHOO!

2nd! Congrats on losing a "roll!" Yes, you have to admire the honesty of a child... As usual, I'm impressed by your training ethic. I most admire the colorful pie chart you're able to create. Speaking of pie, I'm hungry and need to go eat breakfast! Oh, and good luck with your half marathon on Sunday. :-)

Good luck this weekend! Another example of how far your body has taken you is that this 1/2 just crept up on you.

Kids definitely say the darndest things, but you know they are so innocent and say it with love! I think you are doing awesome! Have a blast this weekend running your first 1/2 of 2010 :)

How did I not realize/remember that you are running Chilly as well??? I guess if you didn't even remember until last week, I'm off the hook. ;)

Chilly was your first so I'm sure it holds a special place in your... legs. Have a great run! Hope to see you out there!

Had to laugh about Terron's comment. They haven't quite figured out at that age how to blatantly lie when making compliments. :-) Got to love that.
